News: Troopers investigate fatal truck crash in Storm Lake

STORM LAKE, IA - The Iowa State Patrol is investigating a deadly semi-truck crash that happened at IA 7 and US 71 on Tuesday, according to KCCI.

A 63-year-old man was driving a semi-truck west on IA 7 when he ran a stop sign and collided with a northbound semi-truck on US 71. The collision caused the northbound semi to hit a southbound semi.

The 63-year-old man was thrown from his semi-truck during the collision.

Rescue crews pronounced the 63-year-old dead at the scene.

The other two drivers were not hurt in the incident.
